Bird Watch at Chesil

Join the Community Ranger on the Wild Chesil Centre's Bird Viewing Platform to look out for some of the nature reserve's birds.

These will be drop-in sessions and will be held every Monday and Wednesday starting from Monday 20th October. No booking is required for these sessions - just drop by and stay for as long as you wish. The timings for these sessions are:

• Mondays - 11am to 1pm
• Wednesdays - 2pm to 4pm

If you have binoculars and/or a telescope please bring those with you. There will be a shared telescope that you can use and a couple of binoculars that you can borrow.

There is a large pay and display car park (Chesil Beach Pay & Display) next to the Wild Chesil Centre.

If coming by public transport, the number 1 bus runs regularly between Weymouth and Portland. If travelling from Weymouth direction the closest bus stop is Wyke Regis, opposite Ferrybridge and if travelling from Portland direction is Wyke Regis, Chesil Beach Holiday Park. It is then approximately a 10-15 minute walk to the centre.
