Birding Basics CPD training session

Come join us at Balloch Castle Country Park for a fun-filled session of birds both watching and listening! Our event, led by local RSPB staff will take you on a journey through the park to spot various bird species in their natural habitat. Whether you're a seasoned birder, just curious about our feathered friends, or want to know how to engage your group with citizen science programs like the Big Garden Bird Watch, or Big School bird watch this event is perfect to give you an idea of how to engage groups of all ages. Grab your binoculars if you have them (although there will also be some to borrow), and get ready to learn about the fascinating world of birds. We'll meet at the indoor classroom space to have a quick intro before getting outside to play - it's at the courtyard by the Castle carpark - look for the green gates as you walk towards the castle and the WD OWL flags.
