Come explore the fantastic South Tyneside coastline this summer and discover its incredible wildlife! 🌊

We’ll begin by walking along the cliff tops to explore the internationally important cliff-top grasslands, keeping an eye out for key identifying plant species. Then, we’ll head down to Marsden Bay, where we’ll look at the coastal birds and enjoy the sights of this beautiful shoreline.

Open to all! Please note: Under-18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

  • Distance: Up to 3.5km, depending on the group and weather.
  • Terrain: Includes elevation changes when descending to and ascending from the bay.
  • Binoculars: No problem if you don't have your own — we’ll have pairs available to borrow on the day!
