Join Caroline Matusiak, winner of the 2023 Ripon Poetry Festival for the second of our free, family-friendly workshops at Nosterfield Nature Reserve.
Starting at 10am in the main reserve car park, we will explore the reserve whilst listening to poetry readings from Caroline’s poetry collection ‘The 36 from Ripon’. We’ll also work on some fun writing activities inspired by what we see and hear on the reserve and share ideas as we go along.
The workshop is 2 hours long, hot and cold drinks and biscuits will be available afterwards.
Throughout the morning, we will explore up to 1.5 miles of flat, even and accessible pathways through Nosterfield Nature Reserve; 150 hectares of wet grassland that provides vital habitat for wading birds, butterflies, wildflowers and dragonflies.
Please book a ticket for every person attending, including children.
