Event description
Birmingham Airport Fest....Celebrating 80 years of Birmingham Airport

About this Event

Our advance allocation of tickets for this event has now SOLD OUT. We will have a number of tickets available on the door but these are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis so we recommend arriving early to avoid disappointment!

Birmingham Airport is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year and to mark such a special milestone, we are organising a free family festival on Sunday 1st September in Sheldon Country Park. This is our chance to give back to the local community and to say thank you for supporting the airport over the last 80 years.

There will be a range of activities throughout the day and something for all the family to enjoy. The live stage will include appearances from Birmingham Royal Ballet, Jen & Derek from Milkshake and Aston Performing Arts Academy. There will also be local arena entertainment, a silent disco, interactive circus skill demonstrations, Birmingham City Football Club, food & drink vendors and local community stalls as well as Bob Wilsons funfair.

Although the event is free to attend, we are asking all those interested in attending to register your interest by downloading a ticket from Eventbrite. Please bring this ticket with you to the festival and show it at the entry gate.

Please do come and join us on what is set to be a day to remember!
