How often do groups meet and do I have to attend all meetings?

Our support groups meet monthly. Birmingham meets on the 4th Thursday of each month. Our community tell us how helpful groups are in maintaining wellbeing but it is up to you how often you attend

What age groups can attend?

Anyone over 18 is welcome. If you're 16 or 17, please bring a parent or guardian.

What can I expect at a meeting

The format of the meetings vary, but you will have the opportunity to introduce yourself, say how you are feeling using the Bipolar UK mood scale and may listen to an invited speaker. The groups are organised and facilitated by volunteers who are affected by bipolar in some way.

Do I have to talk at a meeting?

No you are welcome to say as much or as little as you want.  We understand that some people find it daunting to join a group or to  talk, therefore, you are encouraged to take this at your own pace.

How can I volunteer?
