About this event

Hobbies • DIY

Come and make your very own felted 3D mushrooms out of sheep wool!

Local artist, ILdiko, will lead you through the needle felting session and provide all the necessary tools and materials. At the end you will be able to take home your very own fungi creations!

This workshop is suitable to anyone aged 8 and above. We will be using a sharp felting needle, a sponge and wool; therefore focus, mindfulness and a careful attitude is required!

This event takes place in the Woodman Pub function room, opposite Eastside City Park and Millenium Point, with access only by stairs. Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled time slot and a Birmingham & Black Country Wildlife Trust staff member will take you to your workshop.

This event is taking place as part of the first Birmingham Fungi Festival. Click here to find details of what else is going on, including fungi forays, talks and workshops!

We look forward to seeing you there.

*As this event uses sheep's wool, it is not recommended for anyone with a lanolin allergy.
