During this 1.5 hour webinar we will discuss:

- How does self-employment differ from being employed
- How to generate a business idea that can work for you
- Important considerations such as tax, registering your business, sickness and holidays.
- Legal and technical issues such as health & safety regulations, insurance, licensing etc.
- Accounting and book-keeping
- Start-up Finance – loans and grants that may be available
- Start-up Support – the support, advice, guidance and programmes available to help you through your start-up journey.

ENTERPRISE BOOTCAMP is supported by West Midlands Combined Authority and is a free programme to help people looking to go self-employed.
ENTERPRISE BOOTCAMP provides access to a local business adviser for 1-2-1 support, optional information on completing a business plan and financial forecast, free workshops on a variety of business topics (business planning, marketing, social media, finance, bookkeeping etc) and ongoing support for your first year of trading.
To be eligible for this free support you must be based in the Birmingham region and either be unemployed, on furlough, or earning less than £27,000 per year.
