Birmingham - Low ovarian reserve open evening
Thu 6 April 2017, 18:30 – 21:30 BST
At CREATE Fertility clinics we have no cut-off point for AMH or FSH results and we are proud to give every woman a chance. We have a long history of good success rates with patients who have low ovarian reserve.
We are pleased to announce a new Open Evening at our Birmingham clinic focusing on fertility treatment for older women or women with low ovarian reserve.
The relationship between AMH, FSH and ovarian reserve:
Anti-Müllerian Hormone is a hormone which is given off by developing follicles, which are egg sacs containing immature eggs. FSH stands for ‘follicle stimulating hormone’, and is a hormone released by the brain which stimulates the growth and development of follicles within the ovaries. Low AMH results generally coincide with high FSH results, and both of these together are an indicator of low ovarian reserve, which is the number of eggs left in the ovaries.
This evening is suitable for:
- Women aged 38-43
- Women with low AMH
- Women with high FSH
Why CREATE Fertility?
Women with low AMH tend to not respond well to fertility medication, since they have low numbers of eggs. Our milder approach to fertility treatment is centred on focussing on the quality, not quantity of eggs. We either use no or low amounts of stimulation, focusing on the eggs that are naturally selected by the body.
We have pioneered Natural Cycle IVF and Mild IVF, which are particularly well suited to patients with low AMH results.
What to expect from the evening:
- Listen to Professor Campbell discuss fertility treatment for women with low ovarian reserve
- Meet and speak to our staff
- View our facilities
- Arrange an initial consultation
- Take away a package of useful information
We also offer 10 women/couples the opportunity to have a personal 10-minute one-on-one chat with Professor Campbell, which is extremely useful in helping you make an informed decision on fertility treatment. These will be offered one a 'first-come first -served' basis so please ask when you arrive if you are interested.
This event starts from 6.30pm, please arrive promptly
