About the Event
This special fundraising event, hosted by Unique Touch Entertainment together support from Friends of Lt Stitchie Aims to brings the community together in support of The Laing family and the legendary Mr. Cleve Laing, known to many as Lt Stitchie. As a pioneering figure in reggae and dancehall, and his contribution to various kinds of events in the UK, Lt Stitchie’s enduring legacy continues to inspire generations and we come together as a community to honor him.
Purpose and Urgency
Lt Stitchie suffered a stroke in the summer of last year. While he has made gradual progress in his recovery—sometimes day by day, sometimes week by week—his journey remains challenging. Access to essential medical equipment, such as a tilt bed, would greatly enhance and accelerate his rehabilitation.
