🌄 Take on Birmingham Mind's Big Hike – Shropshire Hills Challenge 🌄
It is proven that spending time in nature has a positive impact on your mental health. The benefits include improved sleep, reduced stress, lower blood pressure and boosts your immune system. Plus, its a great way to connect and socialise with others.
The Shropshire Hills Challenge is more than just a hike – it’s a powerful movement to raise awareness for mental health and essential funds for Birmingham Mind.
This spectacular challenge is 22km in total. With heathland, panoramic views and sweeping valleys, our hike will take us up to the high point of Pole Bank (512 meters) and taking in Haddon Hill and Bodbury Hill before heading back down into the pretty market town of Church Stretton.
Whether you're an avid hiker or just looking for a meaningful way to support a vital cause, this challenge offers breathtaking views, a supportive community, and the chance to walk in solidarity for those facing mental health struggles.

Every step you take helps Birmingham Mind continue to provide vital mental health services across Birmingham. So lace up, speak up, and step out for mental health!
Throughout the climb, we will be following the lead of fully trained, first-aid certified guides.
Places are £30 plus booking fee with a fundraising target of £150 per person but we appreciate any fundraising participants can support us with.
