Who we are:

Birmingham PASS is a student-led, non-profit-making society based in University ofBirmingham. We aim to build a platform for students to constructively discuss social political issues, to raise their awareness on such issues and to provide opportunities for them to engage in and serve our local community.

In doing so, we hope that our society could be a pathway for our members to immerse in the thriving community around them, to take up responsibility and ultimately facilitate their whole-person development.

Despite having only one year of history (established in 2013), we, Birmingham PASS, as a society are ambitious and have already hosted various activities with well-known international organisations. Such activities range from Career Conferences to Seminars led by distinguished guest speakers, the most recent one being a talk and dinner where we invited the Honourable Chief Justice of Hong Kong Geoffrey Ma to speak to us, to annual balls. Apart from the serious side of things, we also incorporate elements of fun into our repertoire, with events like yum cha afternoons, BBC tours, and Chinese New Year Sale at Chinatown.
