Hall Green Secondary School, Southam Road, Hall Green, Birmingham, B28 0AA
Each school is required to send their Head teacher, Principal and / or Chief Executive Officer as well as up to two other senior representatives if they wish to become a RADY+ school.
We are delighted that due to the SUCCESS of our RADY launch in December 2016, there has been a request for a second launch event for colleagues who were unable to attend first time round.
This will be held at Hall Green School on the 8th February 2017 - 2pm until 4pm. This is a FULLY FUNDED event run in partnership with the South Birmingham Area Network. Birmingham Education Partnership (BEP) are committed to improving outcomes for disadvantaged in all secondary schools/academies in Birmingham and the RADY project is intended to develop schools’ strategies in supporting this disadvantaged pupils (with a focus on the most able) and informing the school’s Pupil Premium Strategy as an Ofsted requirement.
For this second launch we are delighted to invite secondary colleagues from Sandwell to join us.
Primary colleagues are also welcome to attend, as there will be some discussion around what Primaries can do to prepare pupils for Year 7
The launch event will give you the opportunity to:
- Understand how RADY will help inform your Pupil Premium Strategy to ensure you meet new Department for Education requirements.
- Sign up to be one of the fifteen RADY+ schools (limited to Birmingham maintained schools only) to receive GRANT FUNDED expert consultant support in making RADY work in your school.
- Academies may also sign up to be a RADY+ school (this incurs a consultancy charge of £2,250)
