Welcome back to a New Year of virtual tales at Birmingham Storytelling Cafe! As we welcome in what we all dearly hope is a much brighter new year we are also very proud to welcome our very first online featured guest! We are honoured to be hosting Tim Ralphs, a storyteller who has been a great friend to Storytelling Cafe over the years. Tim has told stories across the UK as well as abroad. Tim took part in the Young Storyteller of the Year competition in Birmingham in 2007 and was a British Award for Storytelling Excellence winner in 2012.

After Christmas Pudding and Turkey Leftovers, after a strange and disrupted year, Tim Ralphs lays out some stories which, if we can only figure out how to cook 'em up and simmer them together, might help nourish us through the coming Spring. In the dark cold of January 2021, gather around the virtual hearth. There'll be old chestnut stories ready for roasting and a few new ones, fresh from the wrapping paper and eager to be heard. Spring is here and it gets lighter.
