Birth After Caesarean Section

This is a standalone virtual workshop for birthing women and people booked to give birth at King's College Hospital Denmark Hill and Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH) who have previously had a caesarean section birth.

We welcome you at any stage in your pregnancy to find out more about the options available to you, recommendations for care and planning your birth. Discussion covers vaginal birth after caesarean (VBAC), elective caesarean (ELCS), induction of labour, what to do if you labour before your CS. This is not a discussion for those considering caesarean for their first birth.

Partners and birth partners are also welcome.

The workshop will be facilitated by two King's midwives. It is designed to be interactive and you will be welcome to ask questions.

For the registration we will ask for some background information from you for auditing purposes.

Once registered for the workshop the meeting link will be made available via the Eventbrite page. If the event is sold out, there is an automatic waiting list that will notify you if a ticket becomes available.

If you have not received the login details, please contact kch-tr.parenteducation@nhs.net

We will continue to add dates in the future.

Looking forward to meeting you all... virtually!
