Birth Reflection Circle is being hosted by Positive Birthing and Beyond and Birmingham & Solihull Maternity neonatal Voices Partnership.
If you have had a baby in the last 3 years at Birmingham Womens, Heartlands Hospital, Good hope Hospital or a homebirth within Birmingham and Solihull then this is session for you.
We are creating this circle for you to come and sahre your expereinces of accessing these servcies in a safe and supportive space. You will be heard and we aim to validate your expereince by listening with empathy and compassion.
Some women will describe their maternity/neonatal journey as traumatic, if this is you then please do reach out and attend, Laura from the MNVP is ready to meet you.
You can say as little or as much as you like. Due to the sensitivity of this event we are limiting numbers, but please be assured we will be running this again.
What happens with the information we share?
The expereinces you share are anonmised (if you want them to be) and they are shared as themes with the trusts to look at how they can improve the care so that it is more safe and personalised to the individual.
