Description

Parents and carers of children aged 0–5 who have additional needs or a disability,
are invited to book onto these welcoming, relaxed and informative sessions.
Places are free and are being held by Contact, in partnership with RHOSEY.

Session 1: Monday 5th March 2018: Support and Information
This session will look at the range of support services available for you and your family both
locally and nationally.

Session 2: Monday 12th March 2018: Encouraging Positive Behaviour
This session will look at why our children behave the way they do, how to encourage positive
behaviour and top tips to help.

Session 3: Monday 19th March 2018: Building Parental Confidence
This session will look at skills to help you feel more confident in making decisions about your
child and when meeting and communicating with professionals.

Session 4: Monday 26th March 2018: Money Matters
This session will address the additional costs of bringing up a child and help you understand
the range of grants, benefits and entitlements available and know how to get support.

All sessions begin at 9.45am (for tea, coffee and cake!) and run from 10am until 12 noon at:
RHOSEY, Albert Grove, Longsight, Manchester M12 4WF
This is an opportunity to meet other parents in a relaxed environment whilst finding out
information to support you and your family.
