Teaching Event 3

Join us for the third of our 2025 Bishop's Teaching Events to learn more about the Five Marks of Anglican Mission and what they mean for your church and community. This event is perfect for anyone looking to boost their knowledge and skills on how to grow their local church and engage the wider community. Network with friends, participate in interactive sessions and make the most of this educational opportunity. We look forward to seeing you.

This event will include a teaching session from Bishop Richard on proclaiming our faith to others. The event will begin at 9:30 am and end at 1:00 pm with repeated workshops, allowing participants to choose two of the three workshops.

Workshop 1 will focus on working with schools as part of our local engagement and give us creative tools to help us work in this area. This will be led by Gemma Martin and our education team.

Workshop 2 will focus on the environment and how we can care for God's creation. This will include Eco Church, Borderlands Rural Chaplaincy, outdoor worship and getting our church to NetZero. Our diocesan Mission Enabler for the Environment, Revd Steve Hollinghurst, will lead this along with our NetZero Project Manager, Ian Hill.

Workshop 3 will focus on caring for those in need and how we can work for justice, featuring stories and projects from the local area. This session will particularly feature the work of LEAF, a local charity committed to enhancing the well-being of people in the Ledbury area, focusing on those in need and fostering a community where everyone can flourish. This will be led by Revd Joe Simons, our Mission- Enabler for Society and LEAF.
