About this event

Other

Learn about the bats of Bishop's Waltham from Nik Knight of Hampshire Bat Group. With the aid of bat detectors, you will get the chance to hear them as they hunt for flying insects.

Good to know:

The walk will be on very rough ground through woodland and meadows. There will be no streetlights so please ensure you bring a torch.

Please wear suitable clothes and footwear for the weather conditions. Walking shoes or boots are advisable as the ground is likely to be wet and muddy.

The walk is not suitable for dogs.

Parking: There is plenty of on-street parking on Cricklemede road. Alternatively there is free parking at Jubliee Hall, a short walk away. Meet at the entrance to The Moors. What 3 Words cork.expect.reckon.
