How do you achieve better productivity and innovation through more effective resource use in a circular economy? What are the challenges of doing this in a circular economy and what are the opportunities?
In the first Members' Forum of the 2016/17 season, Libby Sandbrook (Senior Advisor, BITC Environment team) will give an overview of the work of our new Circular Economy Taskforce. She will also lead a discussion session with Members on opportunities to "close the loop" in the supply chain through improved product design, extending asset life, reuse and recycling and how this can deliver tangible commercial and sustainability gains.
This event is one of BITC Cymru's regular Members Forum events. These regular sessions are the main vehicle for sharing best practice with Member companies and providing opportunities to debate these issues in small, roundtable groups. With the topics identified by our Members, the Forums embody the business-led approach taken by Business in the Community Cymru.
Drawing best practice from across our network and our broader organisation the Forums are a vital element of our Membership offer. Taking in a broad range of topics from HR to employee engagement; and from measuring community impact to building responsible business strategies, the BITC Cymru Members’ Forums are opportunities for Members to discuss openly the challenges and opportunities they are facing.
Please note that this event is only for Members of Business in the Community. If you would like to find out more about Membership, or our other events throughout the year, please contact BITC Cymru at firstname.lastname@example.org.
