Bite Size Introduction to CAMHS

About this Event

By the end of this session, you will:

  • be able to differentiate between children and young people who may have mental health needs, mental health problems and those who may be distressed;
  • understand the Structure of CAMHS and what we offer;
  • know how to seek support and advise for children and young people in your care.

Summary:

In a virtual world this bite size introduction to CAMHS has been created to provide professionals with a refresher around mental health presentations, the structure and offer currently being provided by Sheffield and the confidence to know how and when to seek support and advice. The session will run for one and a half hours, making it easily accessible to all.

Who can access this training?

All Sheffield professionals working with children and young people are welcome to access our CAMHS training for free.

Please note: If you are a professional not working in Sheffield, we'd love to have you join us for our sessions! A fee of £100 per day will be charged once you have attended the course. This fee will be agreed for half days.
