This course is delivered by Halesowen College

To enable learners to understand:-

  • How to build a basic forumla in EXCEL using arithmatic operators and brackets where needed
  • How to calculate percentages
  • What is the difference between relative and absolute references
  • How to use some of the basic functions (built in forumlae) in Excel
  • Some ways to check errors in calculations

The learner will be able to go back to their workplace and:-

  • Build a basic formula using arithmatic operators
  • Use some of Excel's simple functions
  • Replicate (copy) a formula using relative and/or absolute references
  • Make basic checks for error in a formula

Exercises are designed for those with a basic knowledge of Excel
