Bite-sized Learning: How to use PR to build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships

Charities and social enterprises depend on good relationships to survive. However, building and maintaining these relationships is no walk in the park.

Where? The 1st Central County Ground, Eaton Road, Hove, BN3 3AN

When? Thursday 30 November 09:30 - 11:30

Who For? Directors, Chief Executives and fundraising staff of charities and not-for-profits, including social enterprises

Who By? Tracey Allen, founder of SEA PR, and Frances Duncan, freelance CEO, business development leader and project developer.

Tracey Allen will share the benefit of her twenty years of experience working in the media and with not for profit organisations to show you how you can use PR to form and maintain the relationships you are looking for.

She will show you that PR isn’t just about press releases that may or may not get picked up by the media. It is about building relationships, community engagement and looking after your key stakeholders through properly communicating your message via a variety of channels including social media. This session will give you tips and tactics to do this effectively.

As a CEO and a freelancer, Frances has developed relationships with businesses of all types and sizes, building partnerships that benefit all parties and bringing funding, skills and resources into organisations.

In this session, she will show you how you can benefit from a stakeholder plan and give you guidance on how to create one. You will undertake an exercise to help you identify the key stakeholders for your organisation and receive tips on how to get and keep your supporters on board.

Book now to ensure your charity can go forth and build the kind of mutually beneficial relationships its needs to thrive.
