About this event

Managing team stress and mental health post-pandemic

It’s estimated that poor mental health costs UK businesses £42bn every year. The emotional cost to individual employees is even greater. If you’re in a management or leadership role, you need to know how to manage employees struggling with poor mental health…especially post-pandemic. Join this session to learn how to engage your employees in productive, empathetic conversations and reduce costs while meeting your legal obligations.

When employees begin to struggle with stress and poor mental health, it’s difficult to know what you can or should do to help.

You’ll learn how to open up productive conversations with struggling employees and take empathetic action that meets both their needs and those of your organisation.

In this interactive, practical session, you’ll learn:

  • What your legal duties and responsibilities around mental health and wellbeing are.
  • How to identify the signs of the most common mental illnesses: stress, anxiety and depression.
  • Non-judgemental listening skills.
  • The LEARN framework for conversations around mental health.
  • How to create Wellness Action Plans.

You’ll leave able to create a positive workplace wellbeing culture. Book now to start proactively managing employees suffering from poor mental health.
