Social media - measuring what matters

Think likes and follows guarantee you social media success? You’re mistaken. There are far more valuable metrics that you should be measuring. In this session you’ll be introduced to the metrics that matter and how to tie them to business goals. With effective measurements, you will improve your efforts and make a difference to your customers’ experience.

Where? The 1st Central County Ground, Eaton Road, Hove, BN3 3AN

When? Tuesday 22 May, 09:30 – 11:30

Who for? This session is for anyone charged with marketing their small business.

Who by? James Armstrong, co-founder of Digital Firefly. James is an expert in social media planning, strategy and content, providing coaching, training and advice to public sector organisations, charities and local businesses.

Covering Facebook, Instagram and Twitter – this workshop will cover measurement definitions (metrics) and their differences across the three platforms. The session will outline how to navigate Facebook/Instagram Insights and Twitter Analytics to measure success. It will also touch upon linking social media actions to tangible business outcomes by recognising what resonates with your audiences and how best to respond to them.

By the end of the session, you will have a better understanding of metrics and will be able to clearly define how you will measure your social media performance. You will have the tools to make continual and noticeable improvements to your social media strategy and make the most of each major platform.
