Following the success of Kingston's third Efficient Homes Show earlier in the year, we are hosting a bitesize version at the Guildhall in Kingston Town.
It's free to attend!
It is aimed at:
- Homeowners, renters, landlords, business owners, estate agents and lettings agencies
- People looking for funding to help improve the energy efficiency of their home
- People looking to save on their energy bills
- People looking for training, employment support and jobs in the retrofit and other green economy industries
- People looking to help protect the environment.

- 11:30 AM : Doors open
- 11:30 - 11:35 AM: Opening remarks by Cllr Ian Manders, Portfolio Holder for Climate Action, Biodiversity and Planning Policy
- 11:35 - 12:15 PM: A Short Talk about my Low-Carbon Home by Michael de Podesta, the author of ‘Protons for Breakfast’
- 12:30 - 03:00 PM : Short Talks led by Transition Town Kingston (TTK) Energy Group (EG). Covering solar energy, batteries at home, heat-waves, ventilation and insulation coordinated by Damon Hart-Davis, Deputy Chair, Transition Town Kingston
- 03:25 PM: Closing remarks
