Bitesize Training - Risks of OST to Children

  • Date: Friday 12th December 2025, 10.00-11.00am
  • Trainer: Lauren Booker

In addition to our regular training, we are delighted to now introduce a series of 1-hour Bitesize training sessions to learn about key topics relating to families and substance use. These sessions are perfect for those who are interested to improve their knowledge understanding around families, drugs and alcohol, but unable to commit to a full-day.

Learning outcomes:

  • Define OST and OST medications
  • Understand the risks to children posed by OST that has been prescribed to adults who care for them
  • Identify good practice in supporting families where an adult has an OST prescription

This bitesize training takes places over Zoom, participants must be able to access Zoom to take part. Colleagues that register will be sent the Zoom link a week before the start of the training.
