Event description
A conference of branch activists about Getting The Vote Out in our upcoming ballots on Pay, Equalities and Casualisation, and USS.

About this Event

One of the most important ballots in the history of our union opens on 9 September. For the first time we are running simultaneous ballots on two national issues to unite workers across the universities sector in defence of our pay and pensions.

But first we need the ballot to succeed, and we need all hands on deck to hit the 50% turnout threshold.

At this one-day conference we'll share our ideas and our experience and help make sure our action is as effective as possible.

Full agenda to follow.

Please note: To ensure members from all branches in Scotland are able to attend, we are in the first instance limiting branches to four attendees. However if spaces remain closer to the event date, we will open up the remaining spaces.

As this event is being held on a Saturday, UCU Scotland will be arranging a creche. Please let us know using the registration form if you require use of the creche. More information is available from scotland@ucu.org.uk.
