It's with thanks to the generosity of local businesses and individuals we're able to hold events such as Biz Quiz, and continue our essential work of supporting the community of Hastings and Rother through dying, death and loss.

During the evening, you'll have the chance to purchase soft drinks and raffle tickets. If you would like to bring your own alcohol, for personal consumption, you're welcome to do so.

Please arrive from 6pm, to be quiz ready at 6.30pm. We will break for supper at 7.30 and re-start the quiz again at 8pm. 9pm we'll announce our winners and then carriages from 9:30pm.

Frequently asked questions

Is there parking?

Yes, there is free parking available on site at St Michael's Hospice, including blue badge holder spaces. Unfortunately, parking is limited, so please also utilise the free parking located on the surrounding residential roads.

Is my food included in the ticket price?

Yes. Your food cost is included as part of your ticket purchase. Your food choice will be selected at the time of ticket purchase.

What do I do if I have dietary requirements?

No problem! Master Fish Bar, tonight's food provider, has informed us that their chips are vegan, gluten free and cooked in sunflower oil. If you have any concerns or questions, please email the events team on fundraising@stmichaelshospice.com.

How do I change my food order?

Please contact the event team by emailing fundraising@stmichaelshospice.com before Friday 17th October, 2025.

Will I be sat with strangers?

If you aren't a team of six, you'll be teamed up with some of the other lovely quizzers we have attending the event. This is purely because of table space at our venue. If you want to avoid this, please choose the group ticket option at the time of purchase to reserve a full table.

Will I be able to buy alcohol at the event?

We will be offering the purchase of soft drinks at this event, and the option to bring your own alcohol for personal consumption. We will not be selling any alcohol.

Can I refund or transfer my ticket?

Tickets are not refundable. If you need to transfer a ticket please do let the event team know by emailing fundraising@stmichaelshospice.com

Do I need to bring cash?

Raffle ticket purchases will be cash only. However, we will offer card payments for soft drinks.
