Find out more about the hidden history of Black British ballet from the 40s to the present day. Hear the stories of the pioneers, from those who were denied work in the UK to those who finally managed to smash the colour bar in Britain’s biggest companies.

Dr Sandie Bourne is a former dancer of Jamaican / Native American heritage and is currently a Director at Oxygen Arts. She is passionate about helping Black artists to achieve equal treatment and recognition with the creative industries.

The talk is followed by a Q&A session.
