Event description

Description

The Wolverhampton Domestic Violence Fourm is thrilled to annouce a joint training collaboration with Black Country Women's Aid.

**FOR PROFESSIONALS IN THE WOLVERHAMPTON AREA ONLY**

The Coercive Control and Stalking training course aims to raise awareness around the impact of these crimes on the people who experience them.

The course will explore the links between coercive control and stalking, and the differences between stalking and harassment. During the session we will explore case studies and the use of specialist risk assessments in providing effective support to victims of stalking. The course will also provide information on local specialist support services in the Wolverhampton area and how to access them.

We recommend that you also attend, or have previously attended the Wolverhampton Domestic Violence Forum's Coercive Control & Domestic Violence session.

PARKING IS AVAILABLE AT THE CIVIC BUT THERE IS A CHARGE.

AT ARRIVAL AT THE CIVIC CENTRE, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO ELECTRONICALLY SIGN IN AND GIVEN A TEMPORARY PASS AND ASKED TO WAIT IN RECEPTION. THE TRAINING TEAM WILL THEN COME AND COLLECT YOU AND TAKE YOU UP TO THE TRAINING ROOM.

Many thanks,

NIna, Lauren & BCWA.
