Black Girls Hike: Fife Binn Hill Loop (Moderate)

Distance: Approx 4miles

Join us for a beautiful and varied walk from Burntisland town to the top of the Binn hill (standing at 193 metres high). Stunning views of the Lomond hills, Edinburgh and the Firth of Forth. The walk goes along paths through woods, fields and has steep inclines.

Duration: The walk would take 3.5 - 4 hours depending on stoppages. There will be plenty of opportunity on the walk to stop and enjoy the scenery.

Terrain: Moderate - The walk goes along paths through woods, fields and has steep inclines. Some of the path is rocky underfoot and the path is a few metres away from cliff edge at the top.

It is strongly advised to wear the following: Sturdy footwear is recommended, as some paths may be uneven or muddy. Waterproofs, layers, and sun protection may all be needed — conditions can change quickly, so please come prepared. We recommend tucking trousers into socks or bringing insect spray for ticks.

Lunch stop: Please bring a packed lunch and plenty of water.

Toilets:Toilets available at start and end of walk near the meeting point.

Parking: Free parking is availble at the meeting point.

Transport: There are good transport links, the meeting point is a 7 minute walk from the nearest train station.
