Black History Month: ANKH Place CIC Bumps, Births & Bravery Unconference

Join us at "Bumps, Births and Bravery" at Shipman Family Hub, Prince Regents Lane E16 (nearest train Custom House DLR in London), for an enriching event dedicated to sharing lived experience stories and enhancing maternity care. This event is part of ANKH Place CIC Perinatal Programme and is aimed at improving ante-natal, maternity and neonatal outcomes for the global majority by sharing experiences, engaging in meaningful discussions, and shaping the future of maternity care.

Refreshments will be served at Shipman Family Hub from 9.30am.

At 09.00am ANKH Place CIC and Storytellthem CIC will provide a brief welcome address as the Unconference Organisers, with introducitons from key stakeholders and stall holders. Registrationwill take place, with refreshments available.

Context summary: Building on the success of the two previous "Bumps, Births & Bravery" events held in October 2024 and April 2025, this un-conference aims at advancing the discussions initiated and focus on actionable next steps to improve maternity care for all women, specifically Global majority women.
