Event description
Come join us for lunch to hear from inspirational 100 Black Men of London who built a charity based on passion, skills and talent

About this Event

Come and hear the story of an iconic movement: the London chapter of 100 Black Men is coming to Broadgate to tell their story.

With its roots in 1960s New York City, the first chapter of 100 Black Men was formed when a group of concerned Black men got together to run programmes to improve the quality of life in their community. This grew into a movement with 100 US chapters, making it as far as the UK in 2001 with the establishment of the London chapter.

Join Julie Hutchinson from ELBA, Jonathan Aghimien from Poq Commerce, one of our occupiers and a volunteer mentor, Michael Sode - from the charity itself and Louis Howell, spokesperson from the charity for lunch to learn about the history of this amazing group, discover an inspirational organisation changing lives in the area and understand how you and Broadgate are a part of this continuing journey.

The event will take place at The Space | 3FA, Tuesday 29th October, 12.15pm -1.30pm as part of Black History Month at Broadgate.

Please note that lunch by Cally Munchy will be served from 12.15pm.

This lunchtime event is open exclusively to those who work in our buildings at Broadgate.
