Join us for the official launch of Black History Month with Museum X and Julie Elizabeth at Republic London, East India Dock.Celebrate the opening of “What Does a Collector Collect?”—an exhibition curated by Annette Fernando, showcasing works by artists of African and Caribbean heritage from the collection of Julie Elizabeth.
Programme highlights:

• 7:00 pm – 7:45 pm: Panel discussion moderated by Sandra Shakespeare (Museum X), with collector Julie Elizabeth and exhibiting artists Natasha Muluswela, Gloria Bourne, and Love Hannington
• Community Portraits with photographer Brian Whar
• Food by Xenia’s Bakery
• Music and dancing
