· How colonial powers erased or criminalised more fluid, communal, non-traditional forms of love.
· The role of patriarchy and heteronormativity in defining gender roles and family structures.
· How cultural norms influence modern dating, commitment, and romantic expectations.
· Expanding definitions of love, care, and partnership in everyday life.
