Why Free?
This Black History Month, we’re creating spaces that centre representation, rest, and community. Wellness spaces haven’t always reflected the diversity of the people they serve, and at Ubuntu Spirit we want to shift that. With teachers who represent the community, we’re holding an inclusive space where those who arrive can feel seen and supported.
We’ve made this session free as part of our ongoing commitment to removing barriers to wellbeing. Any profits from our wider work are reinvested into community events like this one, so we can keep building spaces that truly belong to everyone. Go to www.ubuntuspirit.co.uk for more.
As this is a free event, please only register if you can make it. If for any reason you need to cancel, please let us know so we can allocate the space to someone else. Spaces are limited and tend to fill quickly - early booking is encouraged.
Sunday 19th October, 3.30-5 pm at Triyoga Ealing, W5 2UQ.
Provided:
- Yoga mats
- Yoga props including blocks, blankets and eye masks.
- Herbal tea given before the class.
Booking Info:
Spaces are limited. Please only register if you’re sure you can attend, and let us know if anything changes so we can offer your place to someone else.
About the Facilitators:
Donna Peart
Donna is a London-based yoga teacher who regularly teaches at Ubuntu Spirit retreats and community events, bringing her calming, breath-led approach to group spaces rooted in care and accessibility. She teaches Hatha, Gentle, and Restorative Yoga online and at Triyoga Ealing. Donna’s mindful and intuitive style encourages students to develop their practice at their own pace, and her classes are especially supportive for those navigating anxiety, stress, insomnia, or fatigue. A born-and-raised Londoner and Level I & II Reiki practitioner, Donna is passionate about sharing ancient practices in ways that support wellbeing in modern life. https://www.donnapeartyoga.com/
Alicia Chasteau – Restorative Yoga & Sound Bath
Alicia is a dance and restorative yoga teacher, who is currently finishing a diploma in Sound Therapy. She is passionate about sharing practices that support rest, healing and reconnection with self and community. With a background in social work and trauma-informed practice, she creates inclusive spaces where people feel safe to slow down and receive.
