About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

We could do this all day, but we will keep it to two hours. We will visit a number of filming locations used for a number of Marvel productions, from Phase 1 to Phase 5! Feel free to suit up as your favourite character. Your enjoyment is inevitable.

Pinewood Studios sits immediately adjacent to Black Park, and since the studios first opened in the 1930s, film crews have used the park for location filming. Other popular productions that have filmed here over the years include: Harry Potter, James Bond, Jurassic World Dominion and Star Wars.

On the walk you will be led by a members of the Country Parks team who has been involved with many of the visiting productions over the years and have watched too many Marvel films. They will bring their unique insight of filming in the park to life through their talk, slides and stories.

Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for weather conditions.

This film walk is best suited for adults and older children. Suitable for older children but must be capable of walking independently for 2 hrs please consider if the content and length of the walk will be suitable for them.

The walk is suitable for all those who are able to walk at least three miles (under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult). Tour finishes by the car park. Feel free to contact us, we’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have about the session!

Please note this tour goes across predominantly flat terrain, but some areas have exposed roots, muddy, and uneven surfaces, that may not be suitable for certain types of wheelchair or mobility vehicles. Please get in touch if you feel this may affect you and we can make adjustments to the tour where needed.

There is a short walk from the car park to the Visitor Centre - head to the lake and walk anticlockwise around the lake towards the Lakeside Café.
