Racism and the ‘post-racial’ since WWII
Cecil Gutzmore is Afrikan-Jamaican. He is a revolutionary Pan-Afrikanist activist-intellectual, committed to race, class and gender liberation: particularly to the liberation, unification of and reparations for Afrika/ns. He is a former (retired) lecturer at the University of the West Indies (Mona, Jamaica) Institute of Caribbean Studies and Department of Government. He is currently an independent researcher and writer and is involved in UK Afrikan community political activism. Cecil’s writings have appeared as journalism, as book chapters, as a pamphlet on Caribbean women’s historic resistance and as international journal articles.
