Black Voices & Music: Listening Room Live

Step inside Black Voices & Music: Listening Room Live — an intimate, soulful evening inspired by the new wave of tiny concerts and apartment-style sessions. On Friday 10 October, 7pm–12am at I O Together Space, Church End, we transform our Listening Room into a close-up stage where every note, word, and rhythm connects directly with the audience.

Expect live reggae from SubahJah, dynamic hip hop from OXGN, powerful spoken word, an open freestyle jam, and a closing DJ set to take us through until midnight. This is not a stadium show — it’s a shared experience where the performers are just a few feet away, creating the energy of a living room party with the quality of a professional stage.

Bring your own bottle, bring your friends, and be ready to immerse yourself in a night that celebrates Black creativity, heritage, and community. Guided by the Ubuntu principle “I am because we are”, Listening Room Live marks the beginning of a new cultural platform in Harlesden: small in size, big in spirit.
