About this event

This is the second part of the excellent walk designed and led by Jonathan Causer. He brings to light the interesting history that has grown up along the River Quaggy as it flows from Lee into Lewisham. Initially Jonathan led the walk from Lee Green to Lewisham (Part 1), but this was too long, so he has adapted the walk. We will meet at St Margaret’s Old Churchyard and discuss briefly some of the remarkable people in the graves, we will then follow the “field path”, past Boone’s Chapel to Manor Park where we plan to join the river Quaggy into Lewisham, where there are many more things to hear about and see.

We will stop for coffee and a comfort break in Manor Park.
