Memory Walk sees thousands of people raising money for a world without dementia across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. People of all ages and abilities can join in, from grandparents to grandchildren to celebrate loved ones affected by dementia, and raise support to reclaim the future.
The Blackpool Alzheimer’s Society “Memory Walk” will take place on Saturday 1st October 2016 starting at 11am and will be a 2.5km route. This will start from the Rossall Promenade north car park; go south along the Rossall Promenade to Mason’s Amusements, before returning back to the car park. The walk will be entirely at your own pace and there will be opportunity to use seating and toilet facilities at the half way point. The route will be easy to follow and marshalled by our volunteers.
If you would like to take part in the Memory Walk, the easiest way to fundraise is by creating a “Just Giving” page at www.justgiving.com. Alternatively, you can use the sponsorship form attached.
