Blackpool & Fylde ICT Cluster Meeting

Wednesday 29th June 2011

17:30 - 20:00

The focus of this event is LinkedIn and its utility as a social networking tool. LinkedIn is far more than just a means of keeping in touch with people. These days, in business it seems that everyone has a LinkedIn profile and this makes it a very powerful recruiting tool as well as the perfect place to make others aware that you are looking for a new job opportunity. Sales and marketing professionals are using LinkedIn to engage with current and target customers and research organisations are also finding LinkedIn a valuable source of information and data. Social networking is radically changing the way we communicate in many aspects of our lives and this is especially true in the business world. Understanding and embracing online networking has become an essential skill for professionals from all sectors.

Cluster Group Information

Founded by InfoLab21 in 2006, the Blackpool and Fylde Cluster group is a support network open to anyone from a business or institution where Information and Communication Technology plays a key role in their daily operations.

If you are a Blackpool or Fylde ICT based company, you could enjoy the benefits of group membership. Whether you're a local IT teacher, from the IT department of a large company or you work from home, you are welcome to join us. We have a very broad mix of members and membership is free of charge. More information on the Blackpool and Fylde Cluster group is available on the Cluster website.
