Do I need previous experience?

No, this is a beginners activity. We will work as though this is everyone's first time. If you do have some experience, you are more than welcome to attend, but we ask you to be patient with the group members who are new to it.

Tickets are £15 per person. This is more than previous 'taster' sessions which were subsidised by grant funding. If this price is going to be difficult for you, please get in touch.

Is there a suggested age for this workshop?

Due to the use of cutting equipment you will need to be 18 years old or over to attend.

What time do I need to arrive?

Please arrive 5-10mins before the session start time.

I'm vegan, can I come?

Absolutely, following feedback from previous workshops, the kimchi made in these workshops will be totally vegan.

Can I take home what I make?

Yes, you will be take home your fermenting kimchi in a suitable container provided on the day.
