It’s Ladies’ day and rank outsider ‘Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend’ has just won the main race at 100-1. Owner Charity Black is celebrating with trainer Davy Trent and Jockey Niall Masterson.
Charity’s PA Beryl is on hand to cater for her every need whilst reporter Charley Allen is still searching for the inside scoop. And the scoop? Doping? Race fixing? Add to that, the body of Charity’s husband and joint owner of ‘Diamonds’ and it’s no ordinary day at the races.
The evening includes a three-course meal with entertainment provided by Murder by Invitation.
