To celebrate the spectacular exhibition 'Tolkien: Maker of Middle-Earth' at The Weston Library, Bodleian Libraries, University of Oxford,Blackwell's Broad Street will be hosting a day of fun Tolkien activities in the bookshop.
At 1pm we are delighted to have a performance from the wonderful Owl Light Trio. This Oxfordshire based group are Jim Penny on concertina, Jane Griffiths on fiddle and Colin Fletcher on guitar. All three have deep roots in traditional music and share a passion for tunes from northern Europe, particularly those from Ireland and Brittany, and they draw upon their combined experience and influences to produce spell- binding arrangements. Allow their magical music to transport you from the bookshop to The Green Dragon and even further.
