Blackwell's presents Krishna Dronamraju and Sir David Weatherall

Blackwell's is proud to present Krishna Dronamraju in conversation with Sir David Weatherall FRS, on Dronamraju's latest book, "Popularizing Science: the Life and Times of JBS Haldane".
JBS Haldane was one of the most influential scientists of the 20th Century. His work on mathematical population genetics and modern evolutionary synthesis have been crucial in the development of biology. He also had a tumultuous love life, moved to India and became an Indian citizen, and some of his quotations have universal recognition in biology.
Krishna Dronamraju worked with Haldane during the 1960s, and is now president of the Foundation for Genetic Research in Houston, Texas. Aside from his work on genetics and biotechnology, he also writes about the history of science in relation to JBS Haldane.
Sir David Weatherall founded the Institute for Molecular Medicine at the University of Oxford, and was the Regius Professor of Medicine from 1992 to 2000. He will be discussing the life of JBS Haldane with Krishna Dronamraju.
