A year after the launch of the Bladder Cancer Research Centre the University of Birmingham is delighted to invite you to this virtual update
About this event
During this one hour Zoom event, key figures leading the Bladder Cancer Research Centre (BCRC) will outline their achievements over the past year, their ongoing research, and their vision for the future of bladder cancer care, and the next steps from the centre.
Talks will include:
- Doug Ward -- The development and validation of a urine test for bladder cancer
- Duncan Shepherd -- What can bio-medical engineering contribute to bladder cancer research’
- Roland Arnold -- “Into the dark matter of transcriptomics” – novel transcripts and their role in cancer
- Farhat Khanim -- Developing an arsenal of drugs against the different mutations in bladder cancer
- Prashant -- Bladder Cancer: Trials and tribulations
