Event Details

This lecture will explore the contrasting ways policy makers in the West have linked the Israeli-Palestinian conflict to the challenge posed by violent strains of Islamist extremism. This was an issue that divided Tony Blair from much of his party when in office, and the contrasting world views that underpin this divide continue impact policy making in the Middle East. It is an issue that has on-going implications for Israel’s relations with the Western world.
