For 13 to 16 year olds
In this Blank Slate session, join us and build your own electronic beat from scratch! In this two-hour workshop, you’ll record and shape your own loops and samples, then turn them into a short unique track. No experience needed, just curiosity, a love of sound and music and a willingness to play.
Led by artist and composer Kelly Ann Buckley (K-A-B), whose work blends composition, sound design, field recording, and experimental music-making, this session is all about exploring rhythm, creativity, and self-expression.
Blank Slate
Blank Slate is our monthly group for ages 13 to 16, bringing you something fresh, fun, and inspiring on the last Friday of every month 4.30pm to 6.30pm.
Our mission is to create a space where you can unleash your creativity through workshops, talks, tours, and outings to other art spaces and galleries. You’ll get to meet and hang out with professional artists and creatives, gaining inspiration and insight into the art world.
